Who is Mother Lover and why does She matter?
Mother Lover is the feminine version of the Divine. Call her Mama God, Soul Mama, Mother of Mercy or a myriad of other names — She is the One who holds compassion in her heart for the entire world. Now, don’t misunderstand — Mother Lover can be fierce! She is not a doormat. She is riled up by injustices — children, women, men, animals, elderly and outsiders being mistreated, cast out, oppressed. She has no time for beating around the bush… her heart is true and truth — in this, she says it like it is. When you seek her, she answers. She opens her arms and says, “Come child, sit with me for a while.” Her ways are about process, not product. In today’s world, it’s imperative that we begin to listen to her call of connection and compassion.
