Child’s Play: An Imaginary Friend Exploration

It’s time to have some childlike creative play time
and revive your relationship with imagination.

This September,
in the Monthly Create Circle,
you’re invited to go on a creative journey to explore
the stories you hold about imagination.

Maybe you’ve been led to believe that “reality”
is more important than “imagination”…

Or maybe you long for more free-wheeling fun
but it never fails that your to-do list takes precedence
over your soul-brew practice…

Whatever story you hold
that may keep you at bay from your imagination,
join me to stir up the colorful waters of your inner longing —
spark your inner child and woo your imaginary friend to the page.
Let’s see what playful wisdom you hold that
encourages you to weave imagination into your every day.

During our time in soulful community,
we’ll navigate the imaginal realm through
simple writing and creative prompts.
No art experience necessary! Only a willing heart.

JOIN ALONG TO:

• Bring awareness to the stories you hold about imagination

• Deepen relationship with the imaginal realm as you
draw and paint, layer by layer, to
woo your imaginary friend to the page

• Learn three keys to keeping relationship
with your imagination lit

• Be inspired to pay attention to your imagination
and how it’s an asset to your every day “reality.”

You May Wonder: Aren’t Imaginary Friends Only for Children?

Imaginary friends are part of many children’s lives and are seen as a normal stage of development.
Maybe you or a child you know was very connected to an imaginary friend. Yet, somewhere along the line,
the imaginary friend “disappears” and with it, our imagination can become dampened. It may seem silly
to have adults re-engage with an imaginary friend, yet, I’ve seen over and over that when we come to the page to create and bring a playful spirit — magic happens. Something unlocks within us when we are free to make with abandon. Who will your imaginary friend reveal herself to be when you give her the space to shine? Whether with wing or tail, magic wand or antennae — I encourage you to come,
let your imaginary friend peek out at you. Unlock your spirit of imagination.

DIVE IN

In a gentle way, I guide you with line, color and inquiry to bring awareness to your story that leads you toward creative freedom and soulful wisdom.

LISTEN

Expand your intuition as you deepen your listening power. As you create, discern the inner voice of Divine Love and gain confidence in your creative power.

PLAYFUL MAGIC

Resist the message to “go, go, go” and experience the magic that occurs when you make room for slowing down to play & ponder.

+ Be Nourished as you Create in a Community of Soulful Explorers

“My time with Ally has been critical life support for me. Ally has awakened color and beauty in my life. When I began “diving deep” with art, I trusted Ally’s leadership and her invitation to LOVE myself and listen to my own voice. She helped me “hear” and “see” in new ways. Ally guided me to linger and be led by feminine wisdom.”
